点评：Attended mini grows gardening club with our two granddaughters today, yet again it has been a wonderful experience
Denise ran the class which was very well organised. Everything was set up before we entered and Denise even allowed me to go into the room in my wheelchair first so that I could get settled (gestures such as this mean an awful lot to me as a disabled lady).
Today’s class was all about Composting and the activities were superb. Denise explained what composting was, ran through what was required and everyone got straight to work. Even our 4 year old kept saying Nana this is so much fun!! (High praise indeed!)
The children had to create their compost schedule, gathering the items they needed for making the ‘Rot Pot’, and they loved building up the layers of soil, peelings, grass cuttings and paper. Throughout the session Denise had questions and provided explanations regarding the process of composting. All children were fully engaged and loved the fact that they could take everything home.
