点评:We went to see the Alabama Iron and Steel Museum that's located in the park. There is an entrance fee to the park, then another small entrance fee to the museum. I think it would be better to either charge to enter the park or charge at the museum, but not both. Either way this review is mainly for the museum. I didn't see a page for the museum, so I wanted to review it here. The museum is well laid-out and gives the history of the Iron industry in Alabama. There are some interactive displays and many things to look at/read. One of my only complaints was there was only one working toilet in the men's restroom. Other than than we learned a lot about the iron industry. Also, we were hoping to have some Blue Bell Ice Cream in the campground store. However, the park entry attendant, George, told us they had a fire and weren't doing hand-scooped ice cream. They did still have Blue Bell, but they were in the small pints, which is a little too much for some people. We are glad we visited the park. We can't speak to how the camping facilities are as we didn't stay on the grounds.
