NO INTERNET---and VERY POOR (if any) CELL PHONE SERVICE

点评：The State Park is very beautiful with lots of historical buildings and adequate number of both full hook-up, partial hook-up (water/electricity only), and primitive campsites (no amenities). Cost for each night averages about $25/campsite depending on requirements.
The ONLY real problem is that this State Park provides NO--repeat--NO INTERNET service...and the cell-phone location is considered a "dead spot" with little to NO "bars" on your phone. This makes communication nearly impossible. It is unimaginable that ANY location within the United States would be without INTERNET SERVICE!!!! We are 1/4 of the way through the 21st Century and this location is living in the 1800s! There have been numerous complaints over the past 30+ years to do something to FIX this problem---and apparently no one is LISTENING!!!!
The location is beautiful, the activities are wonderful, the campground easily accommodates full-sized campers as well as tents and other needs---but not to have INTERNET is a TOTAL EMBARASSMENT to not on the Alabama State Park system but to the travelers that stay here without such access to even simply--and often much-needed communication!!!!
