Beautiful, Peaceful and Plentiful Ponies

点评：This area is so beautiful and peaceful. There is a nice visitor center (previously visited but was closed recently due to government shut down) with information about the National Seashore.
The ponies were easily visible and relaxed in their own environment. The majority of them were in close proximity to the road which allowed up close views of these majestic animals. There is a short board-walk to the water which provides picturesque views of the water.
A longer board-walk over the water to observe wading birds and possibly other wildlife.
One can enjoy a short stroll or long walk on the beach.
No food service in this park. Bring a picnic lunch, snacks & water and enjoy this unspoiled area.
Saw a few deer during my recent visit.
A must do for individuals who enjoy the outdoors and observing wildlife in their own environment.
For the safety of the wildlife, observe the speed limits and take in this most rewarding experience.
