点评：After visiting the Hoover Dam, we stopped into this Visitor Center for the Lake Mead National Recreation Area (NRA) to watch the park film, check out exhibits, pick up maps, collect passport stamps, browse the gift shop, and use the restrooms.
FREE maps/brochures we obtained were the Lake Mead NRA Visitor Guide, Ice Age Fossils State Park, Nevada's State Museums & History, Tule Springs Fossil Beds NM, Mojave / Castle Mountains NM, and a Grand Canyon Pocket Map.
Four (4) Passport Stamps we collected at this VC were 1. Hoover Dam, 2. Lake Mead NRA, 3. Old Spanish NHT, and 4. Tule Springs Fossil Beds NM.
We purchased a Prickly Pear Cactus Candy Bag ($4.99) for my son in the gift shop. VC hours are daily from 9AM-4:30PM. We spent about 30 mins. here.
Did you know the palm trees found in this area are not native to it? So, I'm debating in my head whether or not to report the ones purposely planted outside the VC as an invasive weed... things that make you go, hmm.
