Kynren的点评
点评：Set in natural surroundings the part is fantastic on arrival we was pleasantly greeted at the car park. Clearly sign posted we chose to walk down the hill to Kynren, but if you have mobility issues there are free shuttle buses. Each show had a good story line and was excellently performed. The volunteer's within the various areas i.e. the Viking blacksmith & carpenter could explain in depth the various methods and processes used in that time.
There are many volunteers dotted around the site, please stop and talk to them. I would like to give a special thank you to one of these Colin H, for his explanation on how Kynren was founded by Jonathan Ruffer and equally as interesting his local knowledge about the Bishop of Auckland and surrounding areas.
Food and drink was reasonably priced with plenty of places around the site to eat and drink.
What I also liked was after the evening show the volunteers where still there with coloured lights to guide you to the corresponding coloured shuttle bus, I felt that the whole day was focused on the visitor experience. We will be visiting again.
