Well worth the trip
Champignons Charlevoix的点评
点评：This business is a short drive from La Malbaie, we went on a sunny day, and the drive into the countryside was really beautiful.
The ladies were kind enough to give us a "tour" and explain the start of the business and the evolution, which is a testament to the drive and innovation of the locals. After the information session, we went into the store and were surprised with the number of products they produce. They have dried products, mushroom powder, numerous marinated mushrooms, fresh mushrooms, and they also carry some products from other local suppliers and producers (this is a bit of a theme in the Charlevoix, local businesses supporting each other, which we really liked).
I would estimate that we spent about an hour to an hour and a half there, but it was really interesting and we came away with quite a few tasty products. They ship across the country as well, so we no where to get more!
This place is well worth visiting, and I should add that while we do speak some French (poorly), they were happy to give us the information in English and the people there were exceptionally friendly.
