Awesome kayaking and snorkeling trip to Tres Palmitas

点评：Our group was lucky enough to have ABE as our actual tour guide!!! We took the Tres Palmitas tour and WOW it was SO FUN!!!!
We started by meeting at Rainbow Realty which had plenty of parking for all us across the street next to the Abe’s school-bus.
We all hopped in the van with a truck filled with kayaks following us and drove to Tres Palmitas boat ramp in the National Wildlife Refuge - maybe about a 20 minute drive. Once there we all got unloaded, we put our gear in the dry bags that were provided and headed off on our grand adventure.
First, we kayaked through the mangroves and saw so many little mangrove crabs and literally hundreds (thousands?) of mangrove jellyfish that swim upright, but when they settle on the bottom lie on their bell with their tentacles facing up. They looked like a jellyfish garden! Abe harvested a few oysters for everyone to try.
Next we headed out toward the open sea and tried to paddle to some caves that are in the next bay. Unfortunately the waves were just too rough, so we ended up turning around and landed on our own private beach called Playa Corcho.
Our group had one person that didn’t know how to swim or snorkel, and Abe spent some extra time getting her comfortable in the water and even got her to look through her mask for a bit. She wasn’t comfortable enough to go snorkeling with us, so she chilled on the beach while the rest of us headed out along the eastern side of Puerto Ferro along a long and beautiful expanse of coral and sea grasses. We saw SO many fish, sea urchins, spiny lobster, fans & corals.
After our snorkeling trip we chilled on the beach and in the water for an hour or so, and then packed up and headed back to the boat ramp.
Our group had a wonderful experience and would 100% book a kayaking tour with Abe’s again! :)

我们团里有一个人不会游泳也不会浮潜，Abe花了额外的时间让她适应水温，甚至让她透过面罩看了一会儿。但她不太适应和我们一起浮潜，所以她就待在沙滩上休息，而我们其他人则沿着波多费罗东侧一片绵长美丽的珊瑚和海草区出发。我们看到了非常多的鱼、海胆、刺龙虾、扇贝和珊瑚。
浮潜之旅结束后，我们在沙滩和海水里休息了大约一个小时，然后收拾行装，返回船坡。
我们团队的体验非常棒，我们一定会再次预订 Abe 的皮划艇之旅！:)
