Historic Deerfield的点评
点评：Two adults visited Historic Deerfield Village on a Sunday in late July and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves along the 1 mile main street. We spent over 6 hours there and only saw about half of the exhibits. We went on the outside guided walking tour and 3 house tours, all done excellently. The docents are extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Each house tour lasts from about 30 to 45 minutes. Some of the houses are open for self-tours. The emphasis of the Village is mostly on the times before, during and after the Revolutionary War. At the end of the day, we spent about 45 minutes in the Flynt Center of Early New England Life and barely scratched the surface of the exhibits. It's too bad they don't offer a 2 day ticket to the Village. Ample parking is available at many locations. Note that there are several almost unmarked speed bumps near the Deerfield Academy part of the Village that gave us quite a jolt even at low speed.
