点评:The supervisor, Ryan, handled a situation concerning a small group of problem children in a very unprofessional and unacceptable way. Taking the entire situation out on a locker room full of innocent and completely unknowing children. Yelling, swearing, and slamming locker doors. Threatening to take away every person’s pass if they didn’t get out of the bathroom immediately. Pool closed at 6pm. By 6:03 he had everyone out of the bathroom without even allowing anyone to change their clothes or put on their shoes. My son wears an orthotic and he wouldn’t allow him to put it on. Not even out in the foyer! Told him “you can do it outside!”
I’m sorry, but not only can you not revoke the passes of innocent people, you cannot be acting irrationally. The situation that occurred by the problem children earlier in the day had already been addressed. Ryan had already removed one of the children (possibly the wrong one) from the park an hour and a half earlier. So what makes it ok for him to then return to the locker room at the end of the day and demand that nobody be allowed to use the changing rooms or he’s taking away everyone’s passes?? My child, and the others we have spoke to, had NOTHING to do with anything that supposedly occurred earlier. In fact, nobody in the locker room at the end of the day had anything to do with it or even had any knowledge of what he was yelling about.
I understand if you have kids causing problems that you need to handle those children. But you DO NOT get to treat every single person in the park as if they are all problems simply by being there. And you most certainly do not get to make threats such as revoking passes for nothing more than a child changing his clothes at the end of the day. I’m speaking up on behalf of all the innocent kids he wrongfully yelled at and expect some sort of apology and reprimand.
THEN!!
3 weeks later a woman was belligerent and screaming at a 14 year old child. Accusing him of drowning her grandson. She screamed at and threatened him for over 10 minutes. Calling him all sorts of names and even telling him he was worthless with no self esteem. Called him fat! The child maintained himself profoundly well. During this time multiple staff members walked by and watched, but did NOTHING to help the child. Cops were called and the woman admitted she was accusing the wrong child and made a mistake. The staff asked the woman to leave a whole hour before the center closed but DID NOT revoke her pass.
