点评：Nice stay at Safari West.
My daughter, two grand girls (6 and 4) and I just spend one night at Safari West. It is an easy drive from Petaluma. My daughter got as a cabaña with 2 beds. The whole set up was very nice: comfortable beds, nice bathroom, and an outside seating area to see the day pass by.
We arrive early afternoon and took possession of our room. After that, we went for a walk to see the animals in their habitats. They have quite the variety! Dinner reservations at 7 pm. I had a very good night sleep and woke up early. I went for a walk to hear the animal sounds as they wake up. After breakfast, we met with our tour guide-jeep driver. His name is Robert. He decided to take us for a walk first so we could see the animals in the cages before the day got too hot so they were still active (very smart!). After that, we climbed on the jeep and off we went. Robert is very knowledgeable and had good stories about the animals. I can’t thank him enough for all his help.
At some point, my oldest granddaughter had the chance to ride on the very top seat on the truck, so we switched seats with other passengers. It is quite the view from up there! We finished the ride, thanked Robert for all his help and left the facility.
If you are ever in the Bay Area, come and visit Safari West. It is just 2 hours north from San Francisco.
