点评:We purchased tour tickets in advance and arrived early to walk around the yard and garden. On this tour, you experience Emily's world. Our very knowledgeable guide took our small group room by room, quoting Emily's poetry and sharing insights into her life. Seeing examples of the pages on which Emily wrote her poems ( all untitled because she was not writing to be published) and noted possible word substitutions ( which can change the theme of the poem) was very interesting. Standing in her bedroom where Emily composed, at her little lady's desk, and seeing the view she saw, was special. The museum utilized the covid time to refurbish the home as authentically as possible. Most people know her name. The home/museum provides a real person, a life, to that name. There are two handicap parking spots right behind the home. And don't forget "Hope is the Thing with feathers..."
