This is just a train - not a wine train
纳帕谷葡萄酒列车的点评
点评：Be aware - this is not a wine train!
- Wine is not included in the cost (except one glass of sparkling on arrival)
- there is no description on the menu about the wine
- no information about the vineyards
- no information about the winery’s
- the staff waiting staff know nothing about wine (I’m exaggerating, they know the name, that’s it)
The ride is uncomfortable
- the dome is the worst experience of them all
- they have the loudest aircon on, so you cannot hear each other speak
- they have the aircon on so strong everyone was putting their coats back on
- the chairs were uncomfortable, not ergonomically correct or recently upholstered.
Spend your money on a winery tour - where you’ll hear about how it’s made, and what it tastes like.
Even better, there are a couple of winery’s where you can make your own wine and take it home with you - if you’re looking for an unusual experience.
Both of the above will cost you about $200 per person, not the ridiculous $700 per person the train charges.
