点评：By chance, my wife and I who are both of German descent discovered the Stubborn German via Google, so we decided to swing in though it was a little out of the way from our destination of St. Louis. We are very glad we stopped in, as we found the Stubborn German offered a great variety of beers.
We started with a flight each because our flavor preferences vary. We both enjoyed the Stubbornfest, an Octoberfest type of beer available year-round, and we LOVED their barrel-aged imperial stout and their barrel-aged Scotch ale, and we sampled other types too. We were excited to see they offer a rauchbier (a German style smoked beer), though we found it to be too light on the smoke.
They offer canned beer to go, and their cooler was very well stocked with a wide variety of their beers. They also have some cool merchandise (koozies, shirts, hoodies, glasses, and more) and a fun logo. Given our stubborn German heritage, we left with numerous liquid and solid souvenirs.
The atmosphere was very welcoming with lots of seating and lots of customers who were ready to engage in conversation.
Their menu does not include food and we had already had dinner, but they do allow you to carry in or order in from places in town.
