Dundee Science Centre的点评
点评：We were staying nearby at Piperdam and thought this would be a good half-day out for our boys. Of all the days to pick, we picked the one where the centre closed early afternoon. In total, we only got around two hours to explore inside.
The above being said, it was still an enjoyable visit. We ate at Café Create beforehand and it was okay - the food was fine but nothing memorable.
Inside, there were plenty of areas to entertain a five and a two-year old (even us adults to be honest). There was an invention / imagination area (geared more towards older children), an exploration area (more aimed at creativity and building things), a discovery area (our favourite) where there were a few exhibits and fun things to do and, a sensory zone, which our youngest loved!
Upstairs, there was an area called Medical Marvels - due to timings we only got about fifteen minutes up here before it was closed.
For a half-day out, it was decent enough. It cost us £6.95 per adult and £5.50 / £4.50 for our oldest and youngest respectively. If I was to be completely honest, there were a few things broken and run down which dropped my rating. I’ve also compared it to Glasgow and for me, it was nowhere near as good. However, our boys were entertained and in the end that’s all that mattered to us.
