点评：Somebody smart has put up a sign in Gedser indicating that it is 3300 kilometres to the Nordkap in Norway... by bike! The small town is a mini-fishing harbour. There's an important ferry connection across the Baltic to Rostock and the town is indeed at the southernmost tip of both DK and Scandinavia. The stone marking the site has been incorporated into a slightly odd concrete and glass exhibition centre, where some local artists displayed their works and where there's useful info. about Gedser and the Baltic. The fields and cliffs are peaceful, but windy even on a late summer lunchtime. We ate our sandwiches and I thought about my previous brief stopover in Gedser in the middle of the night, in 1981 when I traveled across the Iron Curtain from Berlin to Copenhagen by train. Times have changed... or have they? In 2029 there'll be a fast train link between these cities again, but via Rødby not Gedser.
