Royal Thai Navy Sea Turtle Conservation Center Phang Nga的点评
点评：We first visited the turtle conservation centre several years ago so we were interested to see what developments, if any, there had been in recent years. In some ways, things weren’t as good in that on this visit, there were no staff to answer questions and explain what the conservation process involves. There wasn’t even anyone to collect our admission money! There are a number of tanks holding turtles of differing sizes from ones that would fit in the palm of your hand to quite large ones. Presumably at some stage the turtles are released into the sea but no information was available.
It was certainly busy when we visited with several tour groups.
In addition to the information office(no staff) where the admission money is taken, there is a gift shop stocking all things turtle, toilets and a cafe. There’s plenty of car parking.
Certainly worth visiting but would be considerably more informative if some staff were around.
