BEAR SANCTUARY Prishtina的点评
点评：This place is an absolute must-visit if you find yourself in Pristina, and not just because, ahem, there isn't a *huge* amount on offer for travellers and tourists. It's definitely worth an afternoon of anyone's time.
Most online info suggests the taxi service which, for €25, will take you there, wait an hour and take you back. Don't bother - it's cheap and relatively simple by bus, you can spend the money you save in the restaurant and shop and an hour's probably not enough to do it justice (particularly if you're not a great walker - it gets quite steep towards the end of the pathway).
Get the bus (€1.50, pay on board) from the station heading towards Gjilan, Kosovo's fourth-largest city, and get off at Mramor - the conductors seem used to tourists visiting the sanctuary and ours beckoned us at the right time and gave us walking directions from the stop. It's then a flat 25-minute walk along the banks of a lake.
It's €2.50 in and then you follow a pathway around the sanctuary with all the bears visible throughout (the lion was hiding on our visit - fair enough, it was pretty cold). It's a very attractive and peaceful walk with views from miles around from some of the higher points. It really does feel like the middle of nowhere. I'm not a qualified bear psychologist so can't fully attest to them being happy, but they seemed to be to this untrained eye.
The restaurant's pretty good too - two salads and large glasses of wine with change out of €20, and they were happy to serve us despite it being pretty late in the day - and a pretty classy gift shop. Go and spend some money there - this place really does deserve your support.
