点评：What a fabulous zoo! Small but packs a good amount into a small space that is well laid out and dressed up so you feel like you're walking through a small jungle. With the Half Penny Green Restaurant, deli and shop and the Craft Village, there is plenty to have a look around and good options to have a sit down and refuel before heading back to the zoo for more of the talks and shows to make the most of the day.
The star of the whole experience for me, has to be the shows and in particular, the bird show. I mean wow....just wow! The bird show alone makes the whole day worth it and is a must see experience. Incredibly well presented and informative with a grand finale that just left me speechless. Truly spectacular and the effort and expertise needed in putting it together must be phenomenal, but the results are such a special awe-inspiring spectacle. The staff really make this place special. Their knowledge, enthusiasm, friendliness, dedication and their desire to share that with the public through the various talks, shows and ad-hoc interactions around the zoo really makes this place special.
