点评:Quite an amazing trip! Our guide Torbjörn did an amazing job of teaching us, and Anna was quite helpful as well!
The descriptions were all accurate and we were able to help care for the dogs, do chores, and really get the whole dog sledding experience. The weather and northern lights are out of the control of the people running the tour, but they were pretty perfect as well. For a trip in mid-February, weather was between -19 and -7°C each morning and the sky was clear both nights for the northern lights (2025 was supposed to be a good year in terms of solar activity, and it was!)
I felt as though the “medium level of fitness” was applicable. If you get a team of young, energetic dogs, you might not have to help up the hills at all. If they’re a bit older or slower, you might need to run with them a bit. It’s definitely a bit more of a rustic experience, so if you like camping, hiking, log cabins, and spending plenty of time outside, then this is a great trip for you!
All in all, great dogs, great experience, great people! Would highly recommend booking directly through Petter Karlsson and not through a third party travel agency so that more of the money goes to the kennel.
