点评：My experience with the Sustainable Birding Company exceeded my expectations on every level. On the eight-day trip, they gave me individual attention, lent me their full scope of knowledge and were willing partners in conversations on any topic. Above all, they delivered their knowledge about my primary mission, finding and identifying birds, with professionalism and a light sense of humor that made for a continuously enjoyable experience day in, day out. I was with driver, Francis and guide, Sammy Muriuki, for seven days from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha with extended stops at Mt. Kenya, Samburu Reserve, Aberdare NP and the Kinangop Platea. In addition, the itinerary of lodges that supported my trip, curated by owner Samuel Ferguson, added significant value to the trip. They were intriguing, varied and comfortable. The company also linked me with their Uganda unit in Entebbe where I spent a delightful day with senior company guide, Stephen, in the Matamba Swamp and Entebbe Botanical Gardens.
Although I chose Sustainable Birding for its commitment to conservation and mission to engage local communities in their operations, I sacrificed nothing by my choice. They were true to their mission, professional in their approach to my needs and open to deepening our relationship while we were together. Best of all, we identified 290 species!
