First great River Trip with Viking

点评：My wife and I, and another couple went on the "Paris and Normandy Battlefield Cruise". The entire trip was an experience that we totally enjoyed.
VIKING staff were present at the Paris airport and easily guided us to a bus to the boat. The room was ready, and a decent size given the boat limitations. Staff was very friendly, cordial, always with a smile on their faces.
Tour guides were very knowledgeable and spoke clearly so we could all hear. Works even better as you get a walkie/talkie device with earphone to understand clearly what is being said. Even had a headset for the hearing aid people to use.
Food was absolutely delicious, ranging from Hamburgers and Hot Dogs to salads and pasta/meat dishes. There were several Chef's specials during the week that were amazing.
Each night the tour director gave an introduction to what would happen the next day, invited the head Chef to talk about specials, and there was live entertainment almost each night.
Even the transfer back to the airport was handled with great efficiency as there were several departures based on scheduled flights. Who does that? VIKING.
