Brilliant adventure in Daintree Forest

点评：To start, Melody at the office and on the phone was terrifically helpful, identifying exactly the right tour group and tour leader, Steve. She gave full help on two tours and taught me how to use the services to pick and choose the most appropriate tours.
Steve picked us up in north Cairns where we were staying, the other travelers were really pleasant, from all over the world, Steve is brilliant, funny, and indefatigable, he handled all of the arrangements in the rainforest--from the excellent meals and delicious ice-cream stopover to the boat trip on the Daintree River to see the crocodiles.
We had to take a detour because a tree fell on to the road in the rainforest, a harmless adventure in itself, that led to two brilliant pluses for the trip: seeing three cassowaries in a family group and visiting gorgeous Cow Beach instead of the more celebrated Cape Tribulation. Just to give you an idea of the camaraderie Steve built up among the 14 or so of us: everybody was singing and talking as we returned to Cairns---a little late because of the tree incident.
