Great overview of the President’s life

点评：Stopped by on a Saturday morning with my teenage daughter. Arrived pretty close to opening so there really wasn’t any lines. I would guess unless a school group is visiting lines are never an issue.
If you know you are going I would buy tickets in advance online. They no longer staff anyone to sell tickets so you just scan a QR code in the lobby and buy them online anyway. If that is not possible I assume you can buy them in the gift shop as well.
If you take your time and view everything I would out this at a 3 hour stop. We did it in about 2 but skipped some of the short videos and the exhibit on Betty’s cancer.
The museum does a great job showcasing Gerald’s childhood, college, and political times. Obviously more weight is given to his time as President but there are many unique artifacts from his entire life.
Very nice Oval Office replica along with a cabinet room replica.
There is plenty of free parking on-site. There are snacks in the gift shop by otherwise no on-site dining offerings.
I’m not sure you need to visit multiple times per year unless there is a temporary exhibit that interests you. As someone that likes history we certainly enjoyed our visit.
