Good first experience, parking and pit pass set up need overhaul

点评：We visited Talladega for the NASCAR Cup series race 2024. We arrived early by car for the track opening. The signage for parking is terrible. More signs should be posted the minute you enter the track main road to prevent confusion and cars cutting in all over the place.
We had premium seats with pit passes. Lined up for the shuttle to the pits. Incredibly long line, very confusing set up. We were never able to get to the pits despite paying a hefty price for passes and standing in a ridiculous long line. What a fiasco, no response from NASCAR or track personnel concerning a refund.
Our seats on the Busch balcony, turn four were fantastic! You have round caterer tables under large shades for sun/rain protection. You can also sit on stools or stand on the rail to get an amazing view of the track and cars. Food provided was basic (hot dogs, salad, chicken, beef and vegetables). Bar provided beer and soft drinks.
In summary a positive first experience at Talladega. Highly recommend the seats. Forget the pit passes, a complete expense disaster for our group of four. Parking needs to improve signage and staff understanding.
