点评:It was a wonderful and breathtaking experience!
The staff gave us a warm welcome straight off the bus. I was lucky to be in a group where the owner of the garden, Dr. Seizo YAMANA, was our tour guide. As we moved from one spot to another, I was able to learn about different types of rocks; their formation, origin, color, shape and so forth. Each of the set-up tells a story of the essence of nature.
There were many trees in the garden, some of which were very very old. To wonder how they were able to survive this long is to understand the best care given.
Wait, there is more! The school of colorful koi fish in the pond were eye catching. The picnic area and a play ground were captivating to spend a whole lot of fun weekend.
Not only that, there were so many different collections of rock pieces from different countries which I never knew they exist. Each telling a story of the diversity of rocks in the world.
But, the highlight of my trip was the jaw-dropping waterfall at the back of the garden. I wouldn't have thought it was man-made! Sacrifice, time and creativity was all seen on this landmark.
So, if you are a rock lover or just someone who looks for creativity, resilience, sacrifice and passion, visit Senseki Garden!
I recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
