Stunning and varied hike.

点评：Stunning hike. Took us about 4 to 5 hours.
Got gable car up which cost about £25 return each. We parked for free on side of the road. Think the car park would have been about £10.
Route to top is clearly marked. Red and white paint markers. There is a split in the route. We went up zig zag path which I would recommend, and you can come back along the other route on the way back.
There were kids as young as 10 years old on it as well as older people too..its felt safe. But it is still a mountain and you need to respect that. Some great sections where you clamber up rocks. I am a bit nervous around exposed areas but felt safe on this hike. Absolutely beautiful and one of the best mountains I have been to. There is a cafe at the top with a toilet which comes in handy.
On return there is a possibility of doing a ridge walk which you can see from the top. It is wide and I found it ok and not overly exposed.
On way down there was one section where u can go right down some steps or you can go straight ahead and down holding the wire. That part was the only bit that for a very small section felt a bit close to a drop. However it was great fun to do. I think the steps on right might have been better if u r scared of heights...however I didn't go that way but it looked OK.
