点评："Welcome to my office". That is the magical opening line with which our fantastic and highly skilled guide Sipho Khoza begins the visit to the wonderful Kruger National Park. And with this phrase and while pointing to the majestic landscape of his "office", you know you are about to embark on an unforgettable experience. And that's exactly what it is, because right away the car follows a hint, the trail of a lion which Sipho has spotted from a distance, the unequivocal footprints that mean the lion is nearby. And off we go! Often talking on the radio in coded language, in a perfectly orchestrated communication network with the other guides, Sipho tips the others about the lion, and the others tip him about rhinos, zebras, elephants or perhaps a family of hyenas down the road, all in a coded language that never reveals the species of the animal kingdom: it's all about sharing, and all about surprise. But wait! Sipho stops the car, a high vehicle that comfortably seats ten people (in the early morning, he gives us blankets, always making sure we are comfortable, in the afternoon he offers cold bottles of water), takes his binoculars and scratches his head. "The lion was here a few hours ago", he says, with the voice of an experienced hunter. And off we go again! This time, much faster, to the phrase "Ferrari Safari!" And as we promptly arrive, we see other cars around the corps of a giraffe being devoured by a group of lions! Sipho once again uses his amazing driving skills, turning left, then right, then backing up, and finally stopping just in front, in the perfect spot, to see and take pictures. He's a master guide! Patient, polite and with a great sense of humor. We had the wonderful luck of having him for three full days in a row and the experience every time was unbelievable. We saw the Big Five, which is in itself quite an accomplishment. I highly recommend CD TOURS, for their impeccable organization, punctuality and professionalism. We were picked up every morning at 5:00 AM from our lodge. Sipho was always on time (if there is something he hates, it is being late!), and the three times we were the very first vehicle to enter the Park. Punctuality has its rewards. The best tours my wife and I have taken! Sipho Khoza is the best of the best! Highly recommended.
