What a disappointment
Lake Keepit State Park的点评
点评：We came with fond memories of being a kid at lake keepit and left utterly disappointed.
Grass is basically non existent and full of burr! You can’t walk around bare foot.
Lack of BBQ amenities around. There used to be heaps there. So bugger going when it’s school holidays unless you have your own cooking facilities.
Kiosk opening hours are short (don’t bet on using it for breaky or dinner) and wasn’t even open when it was supposed to be. When it was open, barely had anything in it so don’t bet on relying on it.
We saw people setup and pack up and leave in the day because of the disappointment.
Lack of signage around to show where the camping areas are.
The only good thing is that you can bring your dogs (on lead only), and it has playgrounds and tennis facilities. But this wouldn’t draw us back there.
Big disappointment compared to how it used to be.
Copeton Dam is much better. Try somewhere else.
