点评:This is the home of the royal jewel collection, located next to the visitor information centre. I came as part of a combo ticket with the Landesmuseum, and not sure it is worth admission on its own. It is a dark chamber when you enter, and there is a bin with laminated sheets to describe all the 'treasures'. Quite literally the page describing each numbered item is just basically the name, year, and what jewels are used on it. And because the room is dark, it is impossible to read.
One of the large cases contains a reproduction of the Prince's crown. Other than that, it's rather the royal curio collection. And it seems that the various Princes liked eggs. Jewel-encrusted, or painted, or whatever, but here is a room with like 100+ eggs. For the record, yes they have 3 Faberge eggs in the collection, and they are some of the least impressive I've seen honesty.
I spent 15 minutes in the Schatzkammer. And of that quarter hour, about 5 minutes was letting my eyes adjust to he darkness. It was very unimpressive unless you really like cheap-looking jewellery. I think the only person who would enjoy this is somebody who is really into jewellery.
