点评:The first time I visited Kinglake was on Boxing Day... and I left wondering why I didn't see a lake, Perhaps where I had visited didn't have the lake. On the recent trip... this time I explored more and now I know there is NO lake.
The town AND the National Park are both named after an English author... Alexander William Kinglake In fact, first the man was a barrister but apparently not a very good one. And another interesting fact is he never actually visited this area in Victoria.
Anyways... asides from the fact that the area is named after an Englishman and has no lake... it's stunning! It should be on your list of places to visit. AND thankfully it's always a bit cooler there in Summer than the surrounding areas...so it's a bit of a haven.
You don't need a reason to visit... just do it because as L'Oréal would say... You're worth it.
The Park is stunning, the walks are extensive ... choose a sign to follow ... there are several areas to visit.
