Awesome Beach Accessed by a Great Trail

点评：We parked in the public parking lot at Sa Riera, packed up our daypack and walked the Cami de Ronda to Platja De L'Illa Roja, which took about 30 minutes with photo stops. It is breathtakingly beautiful to walk the path up and down the cliffs. It's fairly strenuous and a little jarring for those with fear of heights, but its not very long to get to the beach. Once you get to the beach, you'll be pleased. It is simply awesome with it coarse sand and its two monoliths jutting out from the beach. The water is chilly, but manageable and I totally recommend getting in, no matter what. I am so happy that I swam in the Mediterranean. It was exquisitely clear and blue and wonderful.
Although this beach is nudist friendly and that may be foreign to many statesiders, the great variety of people and their casual, yet respectful demeanor, can set one at ease right away. Eventually, you may find your inhibitions just plain silly and join the crowd.
There are plenty who remain clothed, however I didn't see any gawkers or creepy-looking types. The only staring people are those getting a look at the scene from the trail above, but then again, we were one of those while we were walking the trail. I guess everyone is curious at first.
By far, this beaches most important feature is that it is simply beautiful.
