One of our best days in Alaska

点评：We had a wonderful day kayaking. Our guide was Tony and he did a very good job. WE picked this particular full day tour because the five of us would have our own guide. We thought this was a good idea because my husband and I are both 70 years old, so we were concerned we might struggle to keep up with a larger group. I emailed KAW before we booked, and they assured me our guide would customize the tour to give us the best possible experience, and he did.
We had a peaceful, gentle time on the water. Paddling was not hard. The raingear provided kept us dry. It was a chilly day, but it was sunny and the views were breathtaking. We stopped several times, including to eat lunch by a waterfall. I really can't describe how amazing it felt to be out on the water, surrounded by snow covered mountains. It was so quiet and serene. Our day spent kayaking will be one of our best memories of our time in Alaska.
