Bull sharks, Big eyed Jack fish ball/school what a day!

点评：We drove in our rental car to Cabo Pulmo National Park not knowing what to expect. The roads become gravel there for about 6 miles so it takes a bit longer. There are several shops to snorkel or dive. We chose this outfit because they seemed knowledgeable and they fit us in, as we had no reservation. Manuel (and three Manuel’s are there) was the perfect guy to get all the skinny on diving with them. He fit us for wetsuits. (Hint. If you’re a chilly person get the 7 mil. I did 5 mil and was chilly!) He explained everything and then we met the dive master Manuel Rodriguez. He did a briefing, asked about our diving history & took us on the boat first to the Bull Shark cleaning station where 10-15 bull sharks circled us! We basically sat in the sand and watched them … somewhat close to us! He has been diving since age 8, so very skilled and helpful. Our second dive was with a humongous school of big-eyed jacks. We were in their center for a bit, and it was wild! We swam next to them for the dive and saw other fish as well. I could hear Humpback whale sounds under the water! I added a neoprene vest (I brought it) for this second dive but I was still chilly. Waters of Cabo are way colder than you expect plus as we were informed, it is much saltier so you are more buoyant. I had to use way more weight than ever before to get down! All-in-all a very nice day. We had friends along who snorkeled (didn’t dive) and they made accommodation for them on the same boat which was nice. We ended our day at the beachfront Tacos & Beer place and it was perfect.
