Disappointing. Rides closed and meaningless wait times on app.

点评：We visited Busch gardens twice last summer so were really looking forward to returning this year but what a disappointing day!
Iron Gwazi, Cheetah Hunt and Kumba were all closed. Iron Gwazi only opened for about an hour before the announcement that all rides would be closing due to inclement weather nearby (yes the sky was dark in the distance but no thunder, lightning or even rain drops!) I don’t think Cheetah Hunt or Kumba opened at all.
It was clear the wait times in the app weren’t being updated. Congo river rapids showed a 20 minute wait the entire time we were in the park but when we arrived there it was actually 45 minutes. Similarly Phoenix rising showed 10 minutes but was actually 30 and Serengeti Flyer 5 minutes but also actually 30 minutes. Don’t base your ride decisions on the information in the app!
The park is huge and having to keep retracing your steps to check wait times and whether rides are open or not makes for a very tiring day, especially in the August heat. I’m not sure we’d bother returning again.
