Beware of bond deductions!

点评：Unfortunately this review gets a poor rating because of what happened afterwards.
The actual time renting the vehicle was fine, although the vehicle (a 16 seater van) was very tired. The front passenger seatbelt was broken, when mentioning this they said seatbelts aren't compulsory in Rarotonga. So it will never be fixed I'm sure.
However, after our trip, we got an email stating the van was not left full of diesel and $80 will be deducted for that plus $30 refuelling fee! We told them we had filled the tank at the end of our trip with the marker showing on 'F'. We then asked for our mileage as we knew roughly how many kms we had actually done, and what this should cost. They would not provide us with that, even though they write the mileage on every new agreement, so they would know exactly what it was from the next person's hire agreement.
We reluctantly agreed to pay $50 in total more as a measure of goodwill even though we disagreed we owed anything. They then took $80 and said the matter was closed! They have not responded to us since then. This has left a very bad taste in our mouths. How many others have they done this to? Interesting there is a review on here where they also took money out of the persons account and would not respond further.
If you hire from them - Please take a photo of your mileage at the end of your trip, then you have your proof should they try this on you.
