点评:This experience was amazing. The different geology you'll see on the full day recommended journey is epic. As is the wildlife (people today saw a mountain lion! Running away at high speed, I'll add).
It is not for the faint of heart or anyone who cannot follow a map while understanding landmarks, sun orientation, and general common sense. You gotta drive these vehicles over technical terrain, so always expect a quick maneuver, need to stop, big bump, big dip, angled road on a cliff, etc, etc. You're moving up (and down) 2000+ vertical and 65 miles for the big loop, so it's not a bad idea to water/food/clothe for worst case weather/equipment scenario. But if you pay close attention at orientation and drive within your limits, you'll be fine.
I've done a bunch of guided and unguided ATV tours around the US, Canada, and New Zealand-
This is the best one I've ever done.
I'd do it again.
