点评:This place is 100% a tourist trap - but not even something you fall into. Rather you are guided like sheep by your trusty tour guide.
Other reviews may say to bargain 'hard', but that is an understatement. These people are crooks. If you don't know A LOT about the stones you are interested in and the fair price for different carats and styles, please beware. They may issue a certificate, but ensure you don't walk away with buyers remorse because as the other reviews say they are clear there are no returns. They are clearly evading taxes in their home country of Tanzania, trying to convince you that it make sense to under-report the value of the stone you purchased to ensure you don't run into problems with customs. I couldn't see clearly enough at the time, but it is all a big scheme and a big scam and you WILL walk out of there with many regrets if you purchase anything. From the coffee, to the handicrafts, and especially any stones and jewelry - everything is overpriced. You're better off spending some time exploring the shops in Arusha.
Tour companies should also be called out for whatever deal they - or their guides have - with this venue to keep traffic coming through the door. Even though we were keen to just go to the hotel, our guide pushed VERY VERY hard for us to spend some time here.
AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN
