点评：So, if you’re like us and coming from out of town, my main recommendation is that you do not want to bank on Uber/Lyft getting you out here in time to make the VERY STRICT tour times. My expected ETA to get out here when I first started trying to book a car was 15 mins earlier than our reserved tour time. Drivers then refused to take our trip for 20 minutes, I assume because they didn’t want to drive out of town.
So, long story short, we arrived at 4:02 for our 4 pm tour time, and saw the last bus of the day pulling out of the lot right as we arrived. We talked to multiple employees in the parking lot, explaining that we would take just getting a trip to the tasting room and gift shop, and getting told that the only way to do this was to have made it in time for our tour bus.
Interesting thing here is that everyone we talked to seemed to want to help, but also seemed terrified of their higher ups finding out that they helped people catch up to the tour if they didn’t arrive on time — and it sounds like our situation is a common one.
So, if you’re the next person who gets screwed over by the Coors brewery on this tour, here’s my advice — go drown your sorrows at Golden City Brewery just down the road. The beer is way better, anyways.
