Great exhibits! Security team needs an ego check.

点评：The exhibits are nice, however the security team needs additional training. Went with my wife and daughter and we were directed into two separate lines in screening. I went through the detector and finished the security screening after I went to join my wife while she went through bag check. I was told to leave the line with zero explanation. My infant child experiences distress when separated from their mother so I was not going to walk away without an explanation. so I said id be going with them for bag check and asked what the issue was with me going through the line with my wife. The bag checker then raised their voice and said step out of line. Another security member walked over and told the bag checker to stop screening the bags and then told me to step out. I asked why again and was told that I was interfeering with the bag check. I asked how I was interfering with the security screening of the bags if they are already on the table being checked by the security team? I asked what the issue with me accompanying my wife through the security line? I recieved no answer and was told to step out of the line or be ejected from the building. I said fine and stepped to the exit of the security line. He then told me I needed to leave the room. I told them I would not be leaving the room and that I was out of the line as asked. I was finally left alone, and we were able to enjoy the exhibits.
Why is it that your security team can't handle being asked simple questions about the screening process without perceiving it as some personal attack?
It seems to me the security team here is less concerned with security and common sense and more concerned with feeling in control.
