It’s free to access and manageable with decent fitness—families with children that were spotted along the way. In summer, no cars are allowed at the start of the trail between 9 AM and 6 PM. You’ll need to park at the free Banhs de Tredòs hotel parking area and either take a taxi van or walk an hour to the trail's starting point. The road from the main C-28 road at the Salardú roundabout to the parking spot is narrow, so drive carefully. Taxis cost about €5 per person (credit cards accepted) and run every 15–20 minutes, with a pause from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Starting early is highly recommended to avoid midday crowds.
