点评:The local staff at the parks are the only bright spot in this whole mess. During the Upgrade sales pitch, I was assured by OCP’s sales team that the Texas parks would not be closing and that they would be upgraded. Instead, 3/4 of them are being sold, with no replacements and no reduction in fees. We were told this to get us to upgrade only six weeks ago.
Additionally, during the upgrade many members are promised verbally that the billing system has a glitch and the 700 additional dollars they show there are not really due at all and have been waived. Each member who received that promise was called after upgrade and told they their park admission would be frozen if they did not pay the fictitious bill even though the sales manager promised them it was in error. I was one of those who was lied to as well. While the park staff are amazing, the corporation is incompetent.
Reservations are impossible through corporate but work well online, the billing system is a nightmare, and no one takes responsibility. OCP or OCR as they are often called continues to make false promises to its members while providing no real solutions. It is theft and fraud, plain and simple which is too bad because we love the parks and the folks who work there at the parks themselves.
