Yala National Park - An unforgettable day - Amazing
Santha Yala Safari的点评
点评：Hi Nimish (Santha) - apologies for the late review, as promised. I was asked to leave this review and if you read all the other reviews they are true to the word. How do I know the person, we sated at his beautiful Guest house which is highly recommendable (Green House Yala), prior to us visiting, Santha suggested that we must go on a Safari, this was one of the main reasons for visiting Yala. We are so glad that we did.
Please do a full day Safari - a half day one is just not long enough.
We went for a full day safari and were not disappointed! Santha knew all the good spots where we could see various animals such as dotted deer, wild hogs, crocodiles, various birds and of course elephants and even a leopard (…and many more animals).
He has eagle eyes!! He can spot so many animals, even from afar. He gave us binoculars, to look at some, he even spotted a small little beetle in the middle of the road that was collecting food and rolling it down the road. (how did you see that..?) He is an expert in his field.
His pace was excellent, when many other Safaris were rushing off, Santha took the time for us, so that we could take pictures and just take in the beauty of the Yala Park.
Where possible, he took routes that weren't too congested, which was magical, as when he turned off the engine it was just us and the beauty and tranquillity of the park.
We were very fortunate to see leopards, given Santha's determination to give us the best experience possible. We waited patiently to see the leopard and it lounging in the road out of the sun.
We had a 2hrs lunch break near beach and enjoyed a tasty lunch that Santha's wife had prepared. He kept our energy up with plenty of water and bananas.
He is an excellent driver and ensures his passengers are safe.
The day past went too quick.
I would highly recommend the full day with Santha to everyone! It's worth it to really make the most of this experience. I cannot begin to list the array of wildlife and birds that we saw , a few mentioned above unforgettable and an absolute MUST!
