Young children adored. Struggled with ethics.
清迈夜间动物园的点评
点评：Gosh it’s a hard one. First and foremost - this zoo does indeed have small enclosures and does not meet the ethics of other zoos I have visited. I’m no eco warrior…however I found the tiger enclosures despicably small, and the solitary elephant being made to wave made me feel a bit sick.
However, we had visited 15 years ago and e joyed it, and wanted to bring our young family, who loved it. And it was also educational, as we discussed as a family about how some animals just shouldn’t be in zoos.
My 7yo favourite was getting to meet owls and lizards…it was nice to have that low key option!
And both girls loved getting on the trucks in the dark and of course feeding the giraffes.
I found the food options to actually be pretty good for this sort of venue. I paid only 20 baht for a serving of pad see ew…which was fresh and tasty…quite unexpected for a tourist trap.
One thing that was very hard was the volume….everything is extra and loud!! My eldest used her loops as it was that overwhelming!
All in all, a lovely family evening, but definitely some parts I struggled with.

有一件事非常棘手，那就是音量……所有东西都特别大而且响！！我大女儿用了她的循环乐曲，因为音量实在太大了！
总而言之，这是一个美好的家庭夜晚，但有些部分我的确有点难以接受。
