点评:Dear travelers, if you’re planning to visit Borjomi in July 2025, please be aware that the city’s main attraction — the Central Park — is currently under partial reconstruction and is not fully operational.
The most beautiful and interesting part of the park, including the area around the main monument, is currently closed off due to ongoing construction. There is no lighting, no working attractions, and the atmosphere is far from what you’d expect from Borjomi’s most iconic site. In fact, only about 30% of the park is open to visitors, and unfortunately, that’s the less exciting part.
The section with the monument is surrounded by construction barriers, and even the newly installed tiles near it are off-limits for now. You can walk through the open areas, but there’s very little to see or do — you can only view the monument from a distance.
From what I’ve observed, the renovation process is moving very slowly. I would estimate that at least another two months are needed before any significant improvements will be visible. So if you’re visiting this summer, just be prepared for a less impressive experience than usual.
I’m giving 3 stars based on the current state of the park. Last year, I would’ve given 5 without hesitation, but for now — it’s not what it used to be.
