Wonderful private tour of Stonehenge and surrounding prehistoric features

点评：Pat provided a wonderful guided tour for a group of 20 friends.
It was easy to arrange and he sent a detailed itinerary beforehand. We met at Woodhenge and then proceeded to Durrington Walls. After this we went to the Stonehenge visitor centre and took the shuttle bus half way and walked Pat’s special route via the Cursus to Stonehenge which involved walking up the Avenue, following in the footsteps of our ancestors.
Pat’s knowledge of these prehistoric sites is based on decades of personal involvement in the archaeology of the area and he shares his knowledge with great insight and humour. He happily answered all of our many questions. We all thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Pat and were still talking about it hours afterwards. It was easily the highlight of our stay in the area.
