Nuuksio Reindeer Park的点评
点评：This was not quite what I expected but a great experience all the same. The park only has 6 reindeer and we saw 4 of them. (To be fair, it was hot - for Finland - and the reindeer had already eaten a fair bit from private groups that day.) Even so, we got to feed them which was awesome. Plus we learned a lot about reindeer from the guide so that was great.
A few tips: If you take the public bus from Helsinki, you will be dropped off at a stop on the side of the road with no signage at all. Never fear! Just walk in the same direction you were travelling on the bus and you will find the entrance to the park.
Also, don’t feel you need to book in advance. When we arrived, the guide said he would offer 2 for 1 because he wasn’t sure how visible the reindeer would be on such a warm day.
If the park opens at noon, get there at noon. You’ll have a better chance of feeding the reindeer than at the end of the day.
Finally, an hour is definitely enough. Once you’ve fed the reindeer, you can make a “bun” on the campfire and that’s about it. Make sure you time yourself so you can catch the bus back since it only runs every half hour.
