点评：Absolutely terrible trip from an organisation and safety position on the boat Eternity. Interesting to read an earlier review, albeit to late, that in 2024 they took Eternity out of service however it seems to be back in the game. A new name perhaps ‘Eternally Bad’. The Komodo Islands are stunning. However this tour was terrible. 24 hours late, stuck on the boat in the port in Labuan Bajo, crashed in to a pearl farm in West Nusa Tenggara, had to wait for the police to conduct an investigation wasted even more time. Went to Rinca Island instead of Komodo Island, despite our guide claiming it was Komodo however I have been there before. Missed an afternoon on Moyo Islands because of the delays. Two full days at sea trying to get back to Lombok. The company is full of layers it is very difficult to speak to anyone in charge, they simple pass you on to someone else. Dino was our contact and at first claimed everything went smoothly as you can read above it didn’t. He then said he wasn’t the boat owner and someone called Lucas was who never responded to my messages. This was one of the most disappointing trips I have ever been on. Didn’t even have a safety briefing at the start. Not quite sure what the point of having the guide was as he didn’t offer much, sat in the cabin on his phone and only emerged to say ‘yum yum’ when it was time for a meal. The boat stank of diesel and generally polluted wherever it went, some cabins the water and AC didn’t work. I have raised a report with the Indonesian Police who will now take matters into their own hands. The other staff were friendly and the young chef did a great job. Such a shame for a quite frankly beautiful place.
