Tallest Mountain on Maine's Coast - Incredible Views

点评：This is a MUST DO attraction for Acadia National Park whether you get the sunrise tickets or not. We could not get sunrise, but we did visit on the afternoon or our second day when the skies were clear. In every direction you look the views are amazing and strongly suggest you walk to different angles. However, for me, the best view was looking over Bar Harbour. We could even see the bar under the water as well as a cruise ship in Frenchman's Bay.
The entire drive up is beautiful with several turnouts. However, it is best when you get to the top. While they say the sunrises are amazing, it is the tallest mountain on the Maine coast, so the views are incredible at any time. This is really something you will want to see if you come all this way to Acadia. Make sure you get a reservation at Recreation.gov before you come, it is well worth it.
