点评：If you like nostalgic roadside stops that are pretty much as they were built 70 years ago, Dixie Caverns is for you. If you like nature excursions, this stop is for you. If you are intrigued by the natural wonders hidden beneath the earth, don't miss a visit. If you like antique shops, and if you like souvenir and rock shops, you will like this place.
We stopped at Dixie Caverns on our Sunday drive through Salem, VA. Tickets were easily purchased for a tour, and we enjoyed a good 45-minute tour through a really cool cavern. The antique shop is interesting to peruse before or after your tour. The building seems it must not have changed much since it was built, and I found that very fun. The tour guide was very friendly and informative. The tour itself does involve many steps, but the sites are worth it.
